ROWAN - Pyrus aucuparia

- Legend says the original Rowan tree was brought from the land of faeries by the Tuatha De Dannan (pronounced "too-ah Dee Dannan").
- Is a great herb for protection
- Rowan in the home protects against fires.
- Prevents the dead from rising and protects against "evil" spirits
- Use in spells or rituals for psychic powers, healing, protection, power and success.
- Rowan will empower you to do anything, attract success, expand your intuition, invite love, deepen your spiritual connection

Yay! More info! I like Rowan, it's cool. They say that if you twist a sprig of rowan into a ring at dusk & look through it you can see faeries! But I think it only works on the 3 spirit-nights (Samhain, Beltane & Litha)
